Formula
Difference = End Date - Start Date, broken down into years, months, and days. Total Days = number of calendar days between the two dates. For example, from 2024-01-15 to 2026-03-05 = 2 years, 1 month, 18 days (415 total days).

Can I calculate future dates?
Yes, you can select any start and end date, whether in the past or future.
How are months counted when dates span different month lengths?
The calculator counts complete calendar months between the two dates. Remaining days after the last full month are shown separately in the days field.
Does the total days count include both the start and end date?
The calculator counts from the start date up to but not including the end date. If you need to include both dates, add 1 to the total days.
Can I calculate business days between two dates?
This calculator counts all calendar days. For business days only (excluding weekends and holidays), you would need to manually subtract weekends and any applicable holidays from the total.
